CogniCount

Building tools to help people use AI without losing the thinking that makes them human.

This concept focuses on helping people use AI as a thought partner instead of a shortcut that replaces their own reasoning. I’m exploring ways to design tools that encourage reflection, learning, and intentional decision-making, especially in situations where AI can easily flatten thinking or make people over-rely on automation.

The core challenge is designing for human agency: helping people get the leverage of AI without sacrificing the process of learning, analyzing, and forming their own judgment.

Private Equity Lifecycle Simulation

Making private equity more experiential by letting students navigate realistic investment decisions, competition, and tradeoffs.

This project explores how to make private equity more tangible and educational by simulating the real decisions investors face throughout the lifecycle of a deal. Students would navigate the tradeoffs between valuation, growth strategy, competition, and risk, while learning how those decisions shape outcomes in realistic scenarios.

I’m interested in how experiential learning can help students understand both the strategic and financial reasoning behind private equity decisions before they enter the industry.
